E-Learning Class to start on June 3, 2009

E-Learning class on SIP Router Configuration File is due to start on June 3, 2009. Late registrations are accepted up to June 12, 2009.

The class duration is six months and gives the opportunity to learn how to write proper configuration files for SIP Router and Kamailio (OpenSER) SIP servers, how to take care of VoIP security and scale the service. Target attendees:

  • VoIP administrators willing to learn and have a support channel for SIP Router configuration file
  • System and network administrators willing to enhance their portfolio with VoIP knowledge

Asipto SRL in partnership with Edvina AB launches first training class program dedicated to Kamailio (OpenSER) and SIP Express Router (SER).

You can learn from Daniel-Constantin Mierla, co-founder and main developer of OpenSER/Kamailio, and Olle E. Johansson, main Asterisk SIP developer,  the mechanisms to build large VoIP platforms.

eLearning updates – configuration file channel

Just about two months and a half since eLearning channel for OPENSER configuration file was launched, a broad number of topics were approached:

  • introduction of configuration file structure
  • overview of SIP message execution flow
  • complete walk-through default configuration file
  • debug options
  • main routing blocks elements
  • all about assignment operations, tips and tricks
  • configuration file flags: per transaction, branch and script
  • r-uri management – best options and available alternatives to handle the request URI

Each document includes many examples to make easier the understanding of concepts and real word usage. With a rate of introducing couple documents and topics per week, the knowledge base of the channel is growing rapidly.
